don box and chris andersen did a great "code-on-thefly" talk using all the new "Azure" bits (SQL Services, Live Provisioning, Azure Blob store, Federated auth). these guys do a good job of making it all compelling.

the last time i saw them do this (a few years back), it was all about SOAP. this time around, the entire talk used HttpRequest.Create(uri). now *that's* what i like to see. bascially, this all uses AtomPub as the serialization format. that's nice. of course, i want to see the same stuff w/ an easy way to select my own serialization formats (PDF?). maybe someday.

the talk got lots of laughs and applause. this is what i expected all the talks to be like. nice to see it.
