wedding adventure - ky style

a work-friend of my wife has invited us to her daughter's wedding in a southern part of the county. now we live in northern ky ("the cultured part" as my mother-in-law likes to say), so it's not like some hick-ville kinda thing here. but just ten or so miles south of where we live, things change. for example, the directions to the event include the following phrases (direct quotes):
"turn right at the new cooper's funeral home..."
"go past the road closed sign..."
heh-heh. should be fun.
